Record rides on Dott’s shared vehicles over summer months

Dott, the responsible European micromobility operator, reports record rides in the third quarter of 2022. Throughout the peak summer holiday months of July and August and the return to work in September, total rides and riders both increased equally by 57% year on year.

The biggest monthly increase was during July, where 81% more riders took 88% more rides in Dott’s cities across Europe compared to the same period in 2021.

Riders took advantage of the warmer weather across Europe to use Dott’s e-bikes and e-scooters to unlock their city. Average ride distances for the year so far peaked in August, with a distance of 2.4km on e-scooters and 2.9km on e-bikes as people choose to travel in the open air for longer distances.

Henri Moissinac, Co-Founder and CEO, Dott, said: “Throughout the third quarter, we have seen our rider numbers remain consistently high. With our shared fleet available in many of Europe’s tourist hotspots, we have been able to help visitors discover new places, whilst supporting locals and residents to get around their cities and commute to work.”
