London, UK, 12 August 2025 – Tusker, the UK’s leading car salary sacrifice provider, has successfully implemented an electric vehicle (EV) scheme for recruitment giant Reed, enhancing the company’s employee benefits offering while also supporting its carbon reduction goals.

With a workforce of over 4,000 people across the UK, Reed needed a partner that could deliver a seamless, scalable solution. Despite having an EV scheme already in place with an alternative provider, Reed turned to Tusker for its market leadership, speed of delivery and more generous lifestyle protections.

The scheme launched in April, supports Reed’s wider employee engagement and ESG strategies, providing access to EVs in a tax-efficient way while aligning with carbon offsetting goals. Tusker’s flexible scheme includes generous lifestyle protections and in-stock vehicle options, making it easy for employees (who Reed call co-members) to get behind the wheel of a car. The partnership with Reed demonstrates how organisations can modernise benefits while delivering business savings and supporting environmental targets.

Ali Argall, Business Development and Customer Retention Director at Tusker, said: “This is a brilliant implementation. Reed was clear about its objectives, quick to engage and totally committed to making this work for its people. Thanks to weekly calls and great collaboration with our team, we launched on time and with strong momentum, delivering two cars within the first two weeks of go-live and witnessing an enthusiastic uptake from employees across the country.”

Natasha Litchfield, Reward Advisor at Reed, said: “When we started looking for another provider, Tusker stood out as having the systems and experience to be able to deliver the levels of service we need. They’ve provided everything promised, implementation has been straightforward, and the first deliveries of new cars have been smooth too. So far, it’s been a really successful launch, and we are confident the scheme will be one of our most popular benefits with our co-members.”

Car and Winner

Reed also works with Tusker to deliver the star prize for the company’s ‘Golden Ticket’ incentive programme, which rewards high performance with high reward. Recruitment consultants who exceed their targets are entered into a prize draw to win a luxury EV. The annual event takes place in August, with the new car being driven to the winner’s location for a surprise reveal. It is live streamed across the company globally, winning national awards for its innovation and impact.

“Reed’s creativity in launching this scheme and making it their own has been exceptional,” added Ali. “They’ve shown how a salary sacrifice car scheme can move from being just a benefit to being part of a culture that recognises performance and supports sustainability.”

Talking on the event Natasha added: “It’s an event the entire company eagerly anticipates. On the morning of the reveal, excitement buzzes through every Reed office as teams hope the car will arrive at their doorstep – either for themselves or a lucky teammate. It has the feel of a live TV moment, like something straight out of an Ant and Dec show. Everyone’s got their fingers crossed, waiting to see where the spotlight will land.”
